FACTORY DANGER

FACTORY DANGER is a game about platforming in an extremely dangerous (and totally nonsensical) factory.

You're trapped on a place full of pipes, killing robots, conveyor belts and probably too many weird architectural choices... Time to get out!

Reach the goal on every level, use the checkpoints and collect those floating floppy disks, they may be useful to unlock something...

FEATURING...

• More than 15 different hand-crafted levels with a somehow broken difficulty curve
• More than 10 different enemies, each one with its own behaviour (like "the bullet goes straight, fast and will definitely kill you" or "the hovering drone will move from left to right and will also definitely kill you")
• Move, jump, wall-slide and wall-jump! You cannot kill anything, just dodge!
• Dash to avoid certain obstacles (such as gravity or some enemies)
• Multiple challenges on every level: learn how to avoid every trap, then do it! (and die a certain amount of times while trying)
• An unnecesary password system based on writting down 4 different 5-digit numbers (hey, I wanted my own password screen, even if its just for fun!)
• Level selection and world selection
• An ending screen that only says "Congrats! You reach the exit!"

This is first project for the Game Boy using the ZGB engine! (I also made a Snake in assembler a few years ago)

CONTROLS

• Move with the d-pad. Slide on walls by keeping that direction pressed while falling
• Jump with A, in both the ground or while sliding
• Dash with B (some enemies can be dodged while dashing)
• Interact with switches by pressing down
• Start pauses the game
• Select + B on a level to go back to the level select screen
• A on the area / level select screen to confirm your choice; B to go back
• Select on the area select screen to view the current password

CREDITS

A game made by yours truly with the ZGB engine. All the sprites, backgrounds, logos and SFX are also made by me, while the music is composed by Beatscribe (all the tracks are part of this Cyberpunk Music Pack - check his work, it's awesome!)
